We’re excited to share that the first shipments of LIFE MIBA FILLER have been delivered from Blue Phoenix’s demonstration line to Kijlstra Bestrating, a leading manufacturer of concrete paving products in The Netherlands.
This innovative binder is produced from Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA), a residue from AVR-Afvalverwerking’s Energy-from-Waste plant in Duiven. The material will be used in the production of concrete bricks, kerbs and pavers. The application of this circular, cementitious binder in concrete products is an important development in reducing the use of virgin raw materials and CO₂-emissions in infrastructure.
Further shipments are expected as our collaboration continues to scale the adoption of alternative binders in the Dutch market.
