On 29 September 2026, the second Expert and Stakeholder Committee meeting took place at the premises of AVR, a partner in the EU LIFE project, in Duiven (NL). The meeting was followed by a visit to AVR's Energy-from-Waste facility, including its CO2 capture facility.
During the meeting, Blue Phoenix presented the current status of the LIFE MIBA Filler development, covering process and product improvements, progress on certification and ongoing research. To bring the Committee up to date, the challenges encountered since the kick-off meeting were shared and discussed with the Committee members present and key members of the LIFE MIBA Filler project team.
One aim of the meeting was to review the current status and findings in light of the final report for the EU LIFE MIBA Filler project, as we enter the phase of completing all deliverables and reports. We also gave an overview of the work packages due in the coming months and gathered input on them.
We would like to thank all participants for their contributions to the lively discussion on the relevant topics. Their input gives us a strong basis for the final phase of the EU LIFE project.
